Great news for the HSV Jackaroo community—Build 047 has just been located and is currently listed for sale in Eastern Victoria, nestled between Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance.
This 1993 HSV Jackaroo presents in overall good condition, and impressively, still has the often-missing rear centre hub caps intact. It's an automatic example with a listed 300,000 kilometres on the clock and an asking price of $1,500.
While there are a few minor cosmetic pieces missing, and the listing notes the engine is “tired,” that’s par for the course with the 6VD1. If you’ve owned one, you’ll know they’re notorious for noisy lifter tapping, especially with age—but they keep going.
The discovery of 047 brings us to a significant milestone—25% of all HSV Jackaroo builds are now accounted for.
